Professional French Drain Installation

Don't let a swampy backyard or poor drainage ruin your property. At Rock Solid, we design and install custom French drain systems that effectively intercept and redirect away from the foundation and lawn. We specialize in turning unusable, waterlogged spaces into dry, functional yards you can actually enjoy.

Residential Drainage Correction

The Problem: A property in a residential area was suffering from severe water pooling in the back corner of the lot. This standing water made the yard unusable after rain and created a risk of long-term soil saturation near the home’s perimeter.

The Solution: We excavated a precision trench to install a high-capacity French drain system. We meticulously routed the line to the property boundary, leaving it professionally prepared for the final municipal storm sewer connection.

The Result: The back corner now drains instantly, even during heavy New Brunswick rainfalls, reclaiming the outdoor space for the homeowner.

Perimeter Drainage & Slope Correction

The Problem: This property was suffering from constant soil saturation along the rear wood line, even during dry summer weeks. The issue was traced back to a slow leak from an uphill neighbor’s inground pool, causing water to migrate down the slope and settle in the client's yard.

The Solution: We excavated a strategic perimeter trench to intercept the groundwater at the source. This required careful excavation near established tree lines to protect root systems while ensuring maximum drainage depth. A high-capacity French drain was then installed along the entire rear property line, utilizing the natural grade to redirect the water safely toward the lower property boundary.

The Result: The interceptor drain successfully stopped the water migration, allowing the saturated soil to dry out completely and reclaiming the yard for the homeowner.

Proven Results

This photo was taken one month after installation. Even after subsequent rain, the ground remains 100% dry and the lawn has successfully filled back in, leaving no trace of the previous water issues.
